Harter Heights
Harter Heights is the original walkable Notre Dame neighborhood, as many of the beautiful historic homes in the area date back to the late 1800s. With the core of the neighborhood bounded by its emblematic brick lamp posts, the area’s streetscapes possess an abundance of character with their wide tree lawns, mature trees, and mix of colonial and Tudor homes.
As with many existing neighborhoods, a broad range of home prices can be found in Harter Heights ranging from the high $100s to $500k and higher for the most desirable homes and locations. New construction homes and lots can be found for a premium price. The desirability of the area’s existing homes are more common in the broader Northeast Neighborhood, of which Harter Heights is a part.
